Saturday 2nd October - everyone invited!

Saturday 2nd October, Climate Action Festival DAY ONE, 10am-4pm at Harrogate College. This free, fun, informative day is aimed at all members of our local community - so please drop in to enjoy music, food and sustainable technologies on the theme of "What does the future look like?"
Free and no need to book - just turn up, there will be lots going on at various times during the day.
All day - for example:
See exciting machines, activities and even animals! (10 - 4pm).
Take part in an orienteering quiz (10 - 4pm)
Observe an eco-house being built on site (10 - 4pm).
Get your bike checked and simple repairs for free (10 - 4pm).
Food prepared and served in the Bistro (times tbc)
Try not to miss these time slots:
11am - 12 noon: Climate Action Festival LAUNCH EVENT (speaker list below).
12 noon: BESPOKE PERFORMANCE for Climate Action Festival by Leeds Conservatoire.
2pm: PRIZES ANNOUNCED for children's Climate Friendly Ideas competition.

Trevor Chapman, Mayor of the Borough of Harrogate – Short closing remarks and officially open the festival
